Red Phoenix/MCS management have secured an MMA World title shot for Marlon Hunt. A British MMA Title shot for Joe Harding, Title defences for Mick Jarvis and AJ Bridgeman. Jason Dabss, Janis Rietskins and Irina Gulova will also be fighting on the show.










On Dec 4th in Colchester Mick Jarvis became the new UCF Super Heavyweight British MMA Champion.

Welcome to our new website. The Red Phoenix Academy which is the only truly World Class Academy in the East Anglia Area is run by the current 10 x Unified and Undisputed World Fullcontact Kickboxing & K1 Rules Champion Marlon Hunt who is also the WKBC UK President, WAKO, ISKA, WKBC & Goldenbelt East Anglian Show Promoter, Fullcontact fight selector, face for Blitzsport and UFC's Mike 'The Count' Bisping's sparring partner.

As well as being a 10 x World Champion at 5 weights, he is also ranked No1 in the World , No1 in the UK in 3 weight divisions, a Triple British Champion, represents GB, a WAKO Gold meddallist, a fully Qualified Personal Instructor in Kickboxing, Fitness Diet and Nutrition and Circuit Training, Full qualified and certified Instructors Coaching Certificate which includes :CYQ Level 2 NVQ in Instructing Exercise & Fitness (Gym Based).
Now working towards CYQ Level 3 Personal Trainer and NASM Masters Degree in Sports Science, Diet, Nutrition and Weight Management.

With 20 + years Martial arts experience in various styles Marlon has been trained by greats such as Benny 'The Jet' Urquidez, Ramond 'The Diamond' Dekkers, Ivan Hippolyte, Cor Hemmers, Ernesto Hoost's 'Team Perfect', Grandmaster Sor Vorapin, Cris Janson Piers, Dennis Kraweel, Andre Maanaart and Bill 'Superfoot' Wallace.

Marlon Hunt and the Red Phoenix Academy have promoted the sport not just locally, but worldwide by being in worldwide Newspapers, Sports Magazines, Radio and TV.

Marlon is also a boardmember of HAS (Healthy Ambitions Suffolk) and Suffolk Childrens University working very closly with the Suffolk County Council to help make Suffolk the healthiest County in the UK.

He is also a member and spokeperson for MAAB (Martial Arts against Bullying) to help raise the awarness of bullying.

The Red Phoenix Academy is a member of SAFECHILD & CRB which provide child protection training, crb checks, risk assesments and child protection policies.
